WE BELIEVE that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that it contains everything pertaining to life and godliness including but not limited to:
- How to personally know Jesus Christ.
- How to worship and serve God.
- How to be pleasing to God.
- How to function in a local congregation.
- How to raise responsible children.
- How to practice love in all relationships.
- How to have a fulfilling marital relationship.
- How to be a productive member of society.
- How to live a life filled with joy.
- How to be at peace with yourself and God.
We as New Testament Christians recognize that the New Testament is the sole rule and guide of Christians in all matters of faith and practice. Christ is the head of His Church and His authority alone is recognized and accepted in all matters. We recognize the work of the church to be the winning of souls to Christ and the development of those won into full-grown mature Christians.
Our primary goal is to reach those that do not know Christ. Christ’s church is not sectarian, nor is it denominational; it is the Spiritual body of Christ. Jesus said, “I will build my church.” (Matthew 16:15-18).
It is our task to keep the church true to the divine pattern. To this end we believe the following:
- No creed but Christ.
- No name but the divine.
- No book but the Bible.
- In faith, unity;
- In opinions, liberty;
- In all things, love.
